Stern Valorant External Cheat — Complete Setup Guide

External Cheat Updated: February 2026

Important

Always disable Windows Defender and all antivirus software before proceeding. Run the loader as Administrator. Ensure Vanguard anti-cheat is not running.

Understanding Stern Valorant: Why External Cheats Are the Gold Standard

External cheats operate entirely outside of the game process, reading game memory from a separate application without ever injecting code into the game itself. This approach is inherently more secure than internal methods because the cheat never touches the game's address space, making it significantly harder for anti-cheat systems to detect. External cheats are the gold standard for games protected by aggressive kernel-level anti-cheats like Riot Games' Vanguard, as they minimize the attack surface that detection systems can scan. Stern has been delivering exceptional Valorant solutions since 2018—one of the longest-running cheat providers in the industry—and the developer is renowned for strong anti-cheat bypass techniques and an unwavering long-term commitment to stability and user safety.

Prerequisites & Required Downloads

Before running Stern Valorant, ensure you have the following prerequisites installed. These components resolve common dependency and compatibility issues and simplify the setup process.

About Stern Valorant External Cheat

Stern Valorant External Cheat stands as a legendary product in the premium cheat ecosystem, having been continuously developed and refined since its release in 2018. Few providers in the industry can match Stern's track record of longevity, reliability, and consistent updates. The developer is known throughout the community for pioneering anti-cheat bypass techniques that have kept Stern undetected through countless Vanguard updates. Stern's external architecture means your game process remains untouched—no DLL injection, no hooks, no detectable footprints within the game executable. This makes Stern uniquely suited for Valorant, a title protected by Riot's notorious kernel-level Vanguard anti-cheat. When you choose Stern, you are choosing a product backed by years of development expertise and a developer who genuinely cares about long-term viability over quick profits.

Step-by-Step Setup Guide

1

Copy Your License Key from VetraServices Orders Page

Your Stern Valorant license key is the single most important credential you will need throughout the entire setup process. VetraServices is an authorized reseller of Stern products, ensuring that every key sold is genuine, verified, and backed by official developer support. After completing your purchase on VetraServices, log in to your account and navigate to the Orders or Invoices section. Locate your Stern Valorant purchase and find the license key field. The key is typically a long alphanumeric string that may include hyphens or special characters. Select the entire key and copy it to your clipboard—you can use Ctrl+C (or Cmd+C on Mac) to ensure a clean copy. Double-check that you have copied the full key without any leading or trailing spaces, as incomplete keys will cause authentication failures. Store the key in a secure location if you need to reference it later; many users keep a backup in a password manager or secure note. Never share your license key with anyone, as it is tied to your account and misuse could result in revocation.

2

Generate and Download Your Loader from generatestloader.com

The Stern loader is not a static download—it is dynamically generated for each user to enhance security and personalize the experience. Open your web browser and navigate to https://generatestloader.com/. This is the official Stern loader generation portal. You will typically be prompted to enter your license key or link your account; follow the on-screen instructions to authenticate. Once validated, the website will generate a unique loader executable tailored to your license. Click the download button and save the loader file to a location you can easily access—common choices include your Desktop, a dedicated folder like C:\Stern, or your Downloads folder. Avoid storing the loader in protected directories such as Program Files or Windows system folders, as this can cause permission issues. The loader filename may vary; ensure you download from the official Stern portal only, as third-party or unofficial loader sources may distribute outdated, detected, or malicious builds. After downloading, you may want to add an antivirus exclusion for the loader folder to prevent false-positive quarantining.

3

IMPORTANT: Enable HVCI (Memory Integrity) in Windows Security (Do This First!)

This step is critical and must be completed before you attempt to run the Stern loader. HVCI, or Hypervisor-Protected Code Integrity (also known as Memory Integrity or Core Isolation), is a Windows Security feature that protects against certain low-level attacks. While this feature enhances system security in general use, it can conflict with Stern's external cheat components and prevent the loader from functioning correctly. You must enable HVCI/Memory Integrity for Stern to work properly—note that this is the opposite of some other products that require you to disable it.

To locate and enable this setting: Open Windows Security by clicking the shield icon in your system tray, or by searching for “Windows Security” in the Start menu. Navigate to Device security (or Device performance & health on some builds). Look for the section titled Core isolation or Core isolation details. Click Core isolation details to expand the options. Find the toggle for Memory Integrity (sometimes labeled as HVCI) and turn it On. If the toggle is grayed out, you may need to disable other security features first or ensure your system supports the feature. Some OEM configurations (Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc.) may place this setting in different locations or use different terminology.

What does Memory Integrity do? Memory Integrity uses the Windows hypervisor to isolate the kernel from potentially malicious code by verifying that all kernel-mode drivers are properly signed and haven’t been tampered with. For Stern, having this enabled ensures a stable environment for the external cheat to operate. If you cannot find the setting on your specific PC, search online for instructions for your exact Windows build and OEM (e.g., “enable Memory Integrity Windows 11 Dell” or “HVCI HP laptop”) as different manufacturers and Windows versions may vary. After enabling Memory Integrity, a system restart is usually required. Complete the restart before proceeding to the next step.

4

Set Valorant to Windowed or Borderless Mode and Close the Game Completely

Valorant's display mode directly affects how Stern's external overlay and menu system interact with the game. For optimal compatibility and to prevent rendering issues, launch Valorant and open the in-game settings. Navigate to the Video or Display section and locate the Display Mode option. Change it from Fullscreen to either Windowed or Borderless Windowed. Borderless is often preferred as it provides a fullscreen-like experience without exclusive fullscreen mode. Fullscreen exclusive mode can cause problems with external overlays and may prevent the cheat menu from displaying correctly. After changing the setting, apply and save. Then exit Valorant completely—ensure the game is fully closed, not minimized. Use Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) to verify that no Valorant or Riot Client processes are running in the background. A clean slate ensures the loader can properly attach when you launch the game in the later steps. Leave the game closed until you reach Step 7.

5

Run the Loader as Administrator, Paste Your Key, and Press Enter

Locate the Stern loader executable you downloaded in Step 2. Right-click the file and select Run as administrator. User Account Control (UAC) may prompt you; click Yes to allow the program to make changes. Running without administrator privileges will almost certainly result in failure, as Stern needs elevated rights to read game memory across process boundaries. When the loader window appears, you will see a prompt to enter your license key. Paste your key from Step 1 (Ctrl+V) into the input field. Alternatively, you can type it manually if you have it memorized, but pasting reduces the risk of typos. Double-check that the entire key is present and correctly formatted. Press Enter or click the activation button to submit. The loader will communicate with Stern's authentication servers to validate your key. If valid, you will proceed to the next screen. If you receive an error, verify that your key is correct, that your subscription is active, and that you have a stable internet connection.

6

After Login, When the Loader Displays “OPEN YOUR GAMES”, Click OK

Upon successful authentication, the Stern loader will advance to a screen that displays the message “OPEN YOUR GAMES”. This indicates that the cheat has been initialized and is ready for you to launch Valorant. Click the OK button to acknowledge the message. Do not close the loader window—it must remain open in the background throughout your gaming session. The loader acts as the bridge between Stern's external components and the game; closing it will disconnect the cheat. Minimize the loader if you prefer, but keep it running. You are now ready to launch Valorant. Proceed immediately to Step 7.

7

Launch Valorant and Wait for It to Fully Load

Open Valorant through the Riot Games client or your desktop shortcut. Allow the game to start completely—do not rush. Wait for the main menu to fully load, for any startup cinematics or logos to finish, and for the game to be in a responsive, playable state. Stern's external cheat needs a moment to attach to the game process and read the necessary memory structures. If you open the menu or try to use features before the game has fully loaded, you may encounter issues. Patience here pays off. Once the main menu is visible and stable, Stern should be active. The default key to open the in-game menu is typically the End key—consult Stern's documentation or the loader interface for the exact hotkey. If you are using the Discord Overlay method (see below), the overlay must be unlocked first before the End key will work correctly.

Discord Overlay Setup (Recommended for Stern Menu)

Stern's in-game menu is designed to work seamlessly through the Discord Overlay, providing a clean, integrated experience. Follow these steps precisely to configure the overlay for the best results.

Reference image: Stern Discord Overlay Configuration

  1. Open Discord Settings: Click the gear icon next to your username in the bottom-left of Discord to open User Settings.
  2. Navigate to Game Overlay: In the left sidebar, find and click Game Overlay under the “App Settings” section.
  3. Enable the Overlay: Toggle Enable in-game overlay to On. Ensure that the legacy overlay option is disabled (turned Off)—the legacy overlay can cause conflicts with modern games and Stern.
  4. Set Lock/Unlock Overlay Hotkey: Find the option for Lock/Unlock Overlay and assign a convenient hotkey. Many users prefer the M key or a function key like F8. This key will allow you to lock the overlay in place so it doesn’t move accidentally, and unlock it when you need to reposition.
  5. Enable Compatibility Mode and Clickable Overlay Areas: Enable Compatibility Mode if available—this improves overlay rendering with certain games. Also enable Clickable Overlay Areas so you can interact with the Stern menu buttons and sliders directly through the overlay.
  6. Launch the Game: Start Valorant with the Stern loader already running (as per the main setup steps).
  7. When Discord Overlay Loads, Press Your Hotkey: Once you are in the Valorant menu or in a match, the Discord Overlay should appear. Press the Lock/Unlock Overlay hotkey you configured (e.g., M) to unlock the overlay and position it if needed.
  8. Press End Key to Open In-Game Menu: With the overlay active and unlocked, press the End key to open the Stern in-game menu. The menu will render within the Discord Overlay, giving you full control over features without alt-tabbing.

Optional Tool: Disable Windows Defender

If you experience false-positive detections or blocks from Windows Defender, you may use this optional utility to disable Defender temporarily. Use at your own risk and only if you understand the security implications.

Troubleshooting

Remove FaceIT AC and Antivirus If Errors Occur

FaceIT Anti-Cheat installs kernel-level drivers that run at boot and can conflict with Stern's external components. If you encounter errors, crashes, or detection issues, fully uninstall FaceIT Anti-Cheat and the FaceIT Client from your system via Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps. Restart your PC after uninstalling to ensure the drivers are unloaded.

Similarly, antivirus software (Windows Defender, Norton, McAfee, Kaspersky, Avast, Bitdefender, etc.) may flag or block Stern's loader and components. Add the Stern folder to your antivirus exclusions, or temporarily disable real-time protection. For Windows Defender, you can use Defender Control (linked in Prerequisites) to disable it with one click. If problems persist, consider temporarily uninstalling third-party antivirus before running Stern. Always re-enable your security software when you are done gaming.
